At Sedalia Elementary, we believe that every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and empowered to be their best self. Our School Counselor, Mrs. Victoria Vazquez, is here to help students grow not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well.
Mrs. Vazquez provides a wide range of services, including individual and small group counseling, classroom lessons focused on social-emotional learning, and support during times of change, stress, or uncertainty. She also partners closely with families, teachers, and support staff to ensure every student has what they need to succeed.
From helping students manage emotions and solve problems to building confidence and healthy relationships, Mrs. Vazquez is a trusted resource and advocate for all Sedalia students.

School Counselor Confidentiality Statement
School counselors respect the right to confidentiality of students, teachers, parents and staff. Disclosures of abuse and/or imminent danger to self or others are reported to the appropriate agency in accordance with the law. Situations jeopardizing student safety, including incidents of abuse, imminent danger to self or others, bullying and sexual harassment are reported to the building administration in accordance with school policy.
